Strikes a chord, doesn鈥檛 it? Defiant yet inviting, these words of a world-renowned journalist and activist Gloria Steinem remind us why we celebrate International Women鈥檚 Day. There鈥檚 another reason 糖心logo入口 is throwing a celebration today; one so momentous it deserves a drumroll.

Meet Women@糖心logo入口 ERG
Exactly one year ago, Women@糖心logo入口 ERG was born. What began as an Employee Resource Group aimed at fostering networking and skill development quickly evolved into a passionate community with a huge impact.
Founded by the women of 糖心logo入口 to create a supportive and inclusive community and tackle the issues women encounter in the workplace, there鈥檚 not much this group hasn鈥檛 done in the past year. From honest discussions addressing weighty topics like menopause, pregnancy, mental health and imposter syndrome to collaboratively crafting a company-wide Allyship Guideline, our journey has been nothing short of transformative.
As we shared experiences and gained insights, deep connections were forged, sparking even more empathy. It's through these moments of learning and understanding that our group grew stronger, reinforcing the supportive community we've built within Women@糖心logo入口.

Hiring Equity
In 2023, 糖心logo入口 focused strongly on inclusive hiring. The results were spectacular. In July 2023, Matt 鈥 our beloved CEO 鈥 announced in his viral that 糖心logo入口 has hired more women than men for the first time in our history. Furthermore, our TA team created a more structured interview process that reduces bias and improves consistency regardless of the interviewee鈥檚 gender.

Allyship Guidelines
Women@糖心logo入口 created guidelines for allyship of women in the workplace. Our goal was to educate and create ambassadors with a progressive mindset who take authentic actions to improve representation and make 糖心logo入口 inclusive for women.
We produced a zine that includes global stats, inputs from a survey about the workplace environment, interviews with women in the leadership team, insights from intersectional experiences, interviews with men who are allies and an allyship 101 with eight curated recommendations.
These efforts provide an impetus for individual awareness, education and action towards women at 糖心logo入口. As you read this, we鈥檙e getting ready to launch it internally to an audience of 1,000+ people 鈥 no pressure.
Educational Lunch & Learns
We鈥檝e hosted inspiring guests to discuss everything from imposter syndrome to women in engineering and leadership teams. Taboos were fearlessly broken as we talked about menopause and pregnancy, educating our peers on how they affect women in the workplace. In one of the upcoming sessions with Femme Palette, we鈥檒l give away a one-year mentorship that has the potential to transform someone鈥檚 career.
Skill exchange 鈥 Data analysis workshop
One of our esteemed members organized a Data analysis and visualization workshop, sharing valuable insights into various data analysis techniques and tools. Her interactive session helped us gain practical skills in data manipulation, interpretation, and visualization, fostering a supportive environment for learning and growth within the group.
World Book Day initiative
To celebrate World Book Day, we voted on which book will be available for grabs in Nectar. Nectar is our tool for giving and receiving kudos across the company 鈥 after collecting enough points (through efforts or bribery), anyone working at 糖心logo入口 can order this book for free. What did we choose? The Book of Boundaries, with tips to help everyone set boundaries for better mental health, increased energy, improved productivity, and more fulfilling relationships.
Make it a goal to inspire inclusion
And that鈥檚 how we celebrated International Women鈥檚 Day 2024 鈥 a culmination of actions taken 365 days a year towards a better workplace for women at 糖心logo入口. Only by inspiring others to understand and value women鈥檚 inclusion can we forge a better working environment. When women themselves feel inspired to be included, there鈥檚 a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.
